Georgia Fuller

Rights Manager

Graduating with a BA in History and Spanish from Leeds University, Georgia started in the publishing industry as an assistant in the Rights Department at Bloomsbury. There, she honed her skills by working with prestigious brand names and exploring diverse markets.

In January 2019, Georgia brought her experience and expertise to the Darley Anderson Agency. As the Rights Manager, she handles translation rights for all of the Agency’s Adult Fiction authors, spanning across various territories, including Brazil, Japan, Korea, Spain and multiple Eastern European markets.

With a long-standing love for reading across all genres and her keen eye for commercial fiction, Georgia is dedicated to connecting our authors’ works to readers worldwide.

In addition to her role as Rights Manager, Georgia works with the Society of Young Publishers as a mentor for individuals pursuing careers in publishing. She believes in the value of sharing her experience and knowledge and aims to foster an inclusive and supportive environment that empowers new talent to join the industry.

My Role

I love that stories are something that binds us all...

Rights is a wonderful part of publishing that not only connects us with almost every team in the process, but also the opportunity to connect with cultures, people and languages on a global scale – and sharing authors and their novels far and wide. I love that stories are something that binds us all – despite political, environmental, or cultural differences – to read a different perspective or discover a new story transcends borders. It’s a rewarding and stimulating part of the industry that combines things that I love into a job – books, travel, language, and meeting new people.

I read across all genres, and I’m as much drawn to a spicy rom com as I am to small-town thrillers set in isolated, far-off locations. Strong, believable characters and a killer hook are essential, and I always look forward to sharing a new novel with editors – there’s such joy in recommending a novel that is perfect for them!
