Francesca Edwards

Francesca has loved reading since a very young age and it has always been unusual to find her without her nose in a book.

She studied English Literature and Psychology at Victoria University of Wellington, where she happily discovered that she could build a career from her love of books. After having this realisation, she completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Publishing (Applied) at Whitireia New Zealand.

Prior to joining the Agency, Francesca worked in publishing in New Zealand for several years, in both sales and digital roles, before deciding to relocate to the opposite side of the world and pursue her dream of working in publishing in London.

Francesca joined Darley Anderson in May 2023. She now looks after rights in Albania, the Arabic world, Armenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.

She enjoys reading a wide variety of books, but particularly enjoys twisty thrillers, new adult, romantasy, and romantic comedies, making Darley Anderson a perfect fit for her (although it certainly doesn’t help reduce her TBR pile!).
