Cesca Major joins the Darley Anderson Agency
We are thrilled to welcome Cesca Major to the Darley Anderson Agency.
Cesca’s debut novel, The Silent Hours, was bought by Anna Hogarty at Corvus in a two-book deal and will be published on 6th August 2015. The Silent Hours is a sweeping historical romance, based on true events, and it centres around an event that devastated a small, unoccupied French village in the Second World War.
Cesca’s first real writing success came in 2005 when she was Runner Up in the annual Daily Mail Writing Competition for the best opening paragraph to a novel. After working in television, she subsequently taught History for seven years before becoming Housemistress at a boarding school in Berkshire. She writes regular reviews and features for the popular women’s fiction website www.novelicious.com and films ‘Beat the Block’ - bi-weekly vlogs to help writers.
Welcome to the agency, Cesca, we are so excited you’re on board!
